The Trafford Consortium has confirmed significant changes to the Trafford 11+ entrance examination.
Please note - if your child is currently in Year 5, nothing will change.

For some time, we have believed that grammar school entrance tests would place greater emphasis on National Curriculum English and Maths. Similar changes have already taken place in other grammar school areas across the country.
Every Trafford Tuition lesson is planned and taught exclusively by fully qualified, experienced teachers with an in-depth understanding of the National Curriculum. Our carefully planned curriculum is already built around the knowledge and skills that underpin the new Trafford 11+, meaning we're exceptionally well placed to prepare your child for success.
If your child has already secured a place through one of our partner schools, there's nothing you need to do.
Your child will automatically follow our updated Trafford 11+ curriculum and will receive the same expert preparation for the new English and Maths-based assessment.
